About Us

Major Toys is a Veteran-owned Family small business that was created in 2022 with the vision to bring back the American toy store experience. For far too long, big box superstores have ruled the retail toy industry. With this much control, shoppers have been forced to deal with subpar customer service, empty shelves, stale product offerings, and most importantly- no magical feeling. Once upon a time there were places to shop where you didn’t have to grow up…where you could convince your mom or dad to buy you the toys of your dreams. Places where you weren’t hurried along because there were groceries to get a few aisles down. There was a store or two in your community where your grandparents, or your favorite aunt took you to buy you a gift for your birthday.

That was taken away from our culture as Americans. Major Toys is re-igniting that magic within each of us when it comes to toys and your shopping experience. If you are lucky enough to live in Florida near one of our two locations, you get to experience delivering that same wonderful feeling to your children when you bring them to shop at Major Toys. We know that many communities across the country are unable to experience this local toy store experience. That is why we have launched MajorToys.com. We will do our very best to bring that experience to you with a large selection of current and harder to find toys at great prices! Our goal is to open a Major Toys in every community in this great country. In order to do that, we will need your support. When you shop online or in person with us, you are helping to create jobs along with long term opportunities for members of our local Florida communities. We are also proud to partner with Toys For Tots to help make sure that kids in need receive the Holiday cheer they deserve.

Our four founding members each bring a unique skill set to the Major Toys family business. Brad, who also works in Real Estate and residential financing, created Major Toys for his family (AND YOURS!) They inspire and motivate him in a Major way, every single day. Brad addresses the business behind the scenes to insure Major Toys delivers on its vision and mission.

Cindy, (married to Brad!), is a published author, retired teacher, and mother to four, manages our social media and marketing needs. She also regularly holds free classes and events at our store locations. These classes range from kid yoga to tot time where toddlers and babies are able to have safe play dates in a fun environment.

Mary, (Brad’s Mom!) our retail manager, has created the most beautiful presentation of toys that anybody could ask for. It takes more than toys to make the magic. With over 30 years of retail management experience, she lays our stores out to flow and deliver that “in person” toy store experience that we are providing each and every day to customers within our communities. She also mentors our staff to bring the best possible customer care. There is good reason for our nearly perfect reviews on Facebook and Google.

Last, but certainly not least, Jeff, (Brad’s Dad!) served our country in the United States Navy for 20 years. In addition to his service to our country, he enjoyed a second 20 year career in warehouse management. He has been an integral part of many pieces in establishing our family’s business. Now mostly retired, his favorite role is to regularly appear as Santa Claus during the holiday season. We can’t share all of our family secrets…but its no coincidence that he looks the part!
